Palisady Asia Pacific is a creative consultancy offering investment and specialist advisory services in the areas of music rights and digital business.
Headed by Gavin Parry, a Senior Digital Music Executive with over 20 years experience in the Asia Pacific region, Palisady offers unique insights into the disrupted, dynamic and agile music industry.

ABOUT GAVIN
Gavin has extensive experience in the music industry having worked with Sony Music for 20 years. He recently held an Executive Vice President Role with Sony Music in Asia Pacific for 9 years leading large teams for both Digital and Business Development across the region in Middle East, Subcontinent, Greater China, Korea and Southeast Asia.
He has strong knowledge of the Asian region and has been involved in music licensing, mergers and acquisitions, business development, digital marketing and finance at a senior level. He created and established the joint venture label with Tencent Music called Liquid State and has closed numerous deals for Sony Music across Asia including the widely publicised acquisition of Korean label KQ Entertainment. He is a regular speaker and panellist at such significant industry events such as Spikes Asia and All That Matters.
He was employed by Ernst & Young early in his career working in business and corporate finance divisions in Australia and Eastern Europe.
Currently a partner in Music Investment and Digital Advisory Palisady Asia Pacific, Gavin has an MBA qualification from the Macquarie Graduate School of Business, holds a Bachelor of Commerce, and is a member of the Australian Chartered Accountants.
Gavin also held the position of Chairman of the Digital Committee for the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) for a period of eight years.
